United Church School is an independent school and a member of ISASA, the Independent Schools Association of South Africa. We have been commended by the National Department of Education for our on-going success in the face of the severe socio-economic challenges that affect the lives of most of our learners. Weekly school assemblies are popular events at UCS. We invite inspiring and motivating guest  speakers to address the assemblies and there is always a chance for learners to present their latest creations and achievements in music, singing, dance and rap. It’s also the forum for learners to share their experiences during extra mural activities with the entire school.
